How Reggie's Driving School collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Who this covers

Reggie's Driving School provides driving lessons, test preparation and refresher lessons across Wollongong, Albion Park and the Illawarra. This policy explains how we handle personal information, following the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

If you send an enquiry through this website we collect the details you enter into the form: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, and your message. If you call or text, we keep your number and what you tell us so that we can reply and arrange lessons.

When you book lessons we may also collect details we need to run them safely and legally, such as the learner's licence details, pick-up address and, for a learner under 18, a parent or guardian's contact details. We record lesson hours so they can be entered in your log book.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, book and run lessons, record lesson hours, take payment, and meet our legal obligations. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not send marketing.

When we share it

We keep your information confidential. We only share it:

  • with Service NSW or Transport for NSW where needed for your licence, log book or driving test;
  • with the providers that host this website and any app we use to keep bookings and records, which may store data outside Australia;
  • with your consent, or where we are required or permitted to by law.

We do not sell your information.

How we store and protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is wrong.
